This is the front cover for empire magazine The colours used are consistent throughout which works effectively as it looks professional and not too brightly coloured to distract the audience away from the main image. Also it looks a lot more organised than if there were multiple colours. I plan on only using two or three colours on my front cover.
The main image fills the whole of the cover to draw attention to the main feature of the issue which is Harry Potter. The shot is a mid shot. I think this is a good shot to use because it's not too in the audience faces.
THe headline are showing other films that are featured in the magazine which I'd like to show and include newest films to draw other audience to the magazine rather than just the audience of my movie.
It is organised in a way that the headlines don't cover the main image which I will try to include.
