  • The theatrical trailer was release on the 22ndAugust 2014. It has 908k likes on Facebook, 11.8m views on Youtube, 322k tweets about the trailer, 57.6k Google views and 172k retweets on twitter.
  • The film used Tumblr as their website as the target audience used tumblr as their preferred social media of the target audience.
  • They encouraged fans to share photos using the hashtag #BestDay and then compiled videos of them, introduced by lead Chloe Grace Moretz.
  • Chloe also took part in twitter Q&As with co-star Jamie Blackley
